Usually they dance it six women, with ceremonious steps to which during the dance it harasses a single man (denominated “bailín”), which makes gestures and you romp around them trying to call his attention, without obtaining it. The women carry in their individual hands branches of laurel like purity symbol. Its original practice is located next to the Tips of Europe, to the East of the region. |
